Tournament Details

Date: August 2, 2024

  • Time:   12:30 Arrive at Arrowhead Golf Course and Check In

12:30 – 1:45 Lunch Provided, Warm Up/Practice, and Silent Auction

1:45 Player instructions

2:00 Shotgun start

7:00 Dinner Provided, Putting Contest and Awards Ceremony

Format

  1. Teams:

    • Each team consists of FOUR PLAYERS.

    • Teams can be formed by participants or assigned by the tournament organizers.

  2. Scramble Rules:

    • All four players tee off on each hole.

    • The team selects the best shot, and all players move their balls to that spot.

    • This process is repeated for each shot until the ball is holed.

    • Each player must contribute at least one tee shot during the round.

  3. Scoring:

    • The team records the total number of strokes for each hole.

    • Strokes are deducted based on place in the speed hole contest. (see speed hole details below)

    • The lowest team score for the 18 holes determines the winner.

    • In case of a tie, a scorecard playoff starting from the 18th hole and working backwards will be used.

4.       Winners:

  • The Winning team receives $1,000 dollars in pro shop credit.

  • 4 bottles of Ketel One

  • Possession of the Ketel Kup till next year.

  • Their names on the Ketel Kup Forever

Special Contests and Prizes

Players Can pay $100 for a contest package to compete in all the contest holes. Only players who purchase the contest hole package are eligible to win prizes. The contest package also includes 2 raffle tickets and one drink ticket.

  • Hole-in-One: A new Car provided by Schomp Automotive for any player who makes a hole-in-one on the designated par-3 hole.

  • Longest Drive: On a designated hole, the player with the longest drive in the fairway wins $100 in pro shop credit and a prize

  • Closest to the Pin: On par-3 holes, the player whose tee shot is closest to the pin wins $100 in pro shop credit and a prize.

  • Hole-in-One #2: A $1,000 shopping spree to the PGA Tour Superstore for any player who makes a hole-in-one on the designated par-3 hole.

  • Putting Contest: At the turn a player gets two puts at the putting contest, with prizes for the winners. If the put is not made by the end of the tournament. Players may buy additional puts for $10 dollars (CASH ONLY). The cash goes into a pot and the player who makes the put will receive the all the prizes and half the money in the pot.

Additional Contests

  • Speed Hole: Foursomes can pay $100 to compete in the speed hole. 3 stroke deduction for the team who completes the hole the fastest. 2 stroke deduction for the team who completes the hole in 2-5 place. 1 stroke deduction for the team who completes the hole in 6-10 place

  • DJ Hole: Players may pay $20 (CASH ONLY) to have the DJ play a song of their choosing for other groups behind them teeing off. They can pay an additional $20 (CASH ONLY) to have the DJ turn up the volume in the players backswing.

Mulligans and Raffle Tickets

  • Mulligans: Players can purchase mulligans (extra shots) before the tournament starts, with a limit of 3 per player. Mulligans can be used anywhere and anytime on the course but only for the player who purchased the mulligans.

  • Raffle Tickets: Raffle tickets will be sold throughout the day, with prizes drawn during the awards ceremony.

Schedule

  • Check In: Opens at 12:30 pm. All players must check in. Check in will be in the Roxborough Room

  • Lunch: Grab and go lunches provided

  • Silent Auction: Starts at 1:00

  • Warm-Up: 1:00 pm to 1:50

  • Shotgun Start: 2:00

  • BBQ Dinner: Provided after your round finishes in a private tent area

  • Putting Contest: Time to gamble and see who the best/luckiest putter in the group is

  • Awards Ceremony: Begins after the last group finishes, with prizes for top teams and contest winners.

  • Sponsorships: Various sponsorship levels available for companies and individuals, including hole sponsors, event sponsors, and prize sponsors. Sponsorship Link

  • Donation Stations: Located around the course and at registration for additional contributions.

Registration

  • Entry Fee: $1,000 per foursome or $500 per twosome, which includes greens fees, range balls, cart with GPS, lunch, dinner, swag bag for each player, and a donation to the Funk Foundation

  • Registration Deadline: July 5th for sponsors and July 19th for foursomes.

Ketel Kup

We are partnering with Philip Foster and his annual charity golf tournament. Phil has been throwing this event for 20 years but this will be his last year. Please join us for the First Annual Funk-Raiser: A Fundraiser to Help Raise Money for the Funk Family.

All proceeds raised at the event will help Tyler and Sarah Funk with Tyler's ongoing medical expenses incurred as a result of a freak snowboarding accident that occurred on May 3rd, 2019.
